People are what make TrueNorth happen. There are so many unsung heroes at TNC that it's almost impossible to highlight every single one. This fifth edition of the TNC Hero spotlights Bill and Paula Martin.
Bill and Paula have been a part of the vision since day one here at TrueNorth. Their passion and their service for the past three years has been caring for infants and babies in Journeyland. Parents want to know that their baby will be taken care of and loved on while they are attending the service every week. And this is where amazing people like the Martins step in. (I know personally because my two youngest ones have enjoyed the love and care!) I've gone to Journeyland to check on things or to pickup my kids and it never fails...Bill and Paula have the babies smiling and laughing as they roll and crawl around the room. What a blessing that is!
Thank you Bill and Paula for living out your love and devotion to our Almighty God!

It's been a little while since I've thrown up a TNC Hero. Today I actually want to highlight a group of people from our teardown team. The pipe and drape team, headed up by Michael Jordan and Brent Morris, are incredible!
The pipe and drape have allowed us to transform the high school gym to a house of worship every week. And if you have ever looked around, there is a lot of it! So that means setup and teardown is quite a process. Michael, Brent and their team have got it down to a science! The cool thing is that these guys have huge servant hearts. Michael and Brent (and their wives) are there every single week dropping pipe and folding up drapes into the carts.
Thank you guys for helping TrueNorth create an environment that helps us see spiritual seekers transformed into passionate followers of Christ!
One more thing...here are some pictures from our Dunk'd at the River service from a few weeks ago. This is what it's all about!!!!
This week I want to highlight Jon Hammond as the TNC Hero. Like those I've mentioned before, Jon is a behind the scenes guy that does a tremendous amount for TrueNorth. His servant heart is amazing, always going the extra mile to help others in need.
Jon leads up a team of guys that setup Journeyland and KizStuff every single Sunday morning. I think they get there around 6:00A or something crazy like that! But the joy I see in him and his team is amazing. Jon also sets up and takes down the portable baptistry that we use every few months, which is quite a job.
As I write this, I'm realizing I can never do justice to these people I call TNC Heroes. They are truly amazing.
Hats off to you, Jon, and thank you so much for everything you do to help us transform spiritual seekers into passionate followers of Christ!!!!
