CHRISTMAS TIDBITS
The kids are out of school and Christmas is less than a week away! I’ve got some shopping to do, how bout you?! I love to shop the last week of Christmas, I’m crazy I know it! I enjoy the crowds, the music, the lights and the hustle and bustle of shoppers purchasing their last minute gifts for their loved ones. I also enjoy the laughter, cookies and hustle & bustle around the TNC offices. We have lots to prepare for the next several days as we celebrate the birth of our SAVIOR and KING!
This Sunday we have a big day planned as we continue our Christmas series, WHY CHRISTMAS? Bring your unchurched friends and family, as we share about the powerful hope and RESCUE that is found in the Christ of Christmas. What a wonderful time of the year for someone to meet Christ! (This will be our final Sunday service in the gym on our North Augusta campus. On Sunday, December 28, we will meet in the auditorium for two services at 9:30 am and 11:11 am.)
DON’T FORGET! OPERATION CHRISTMAS: KIDZ ON A MISSION – is collecting Canned Goods and Non-Perishable Food items Sunday as they prepare food baskets for the families they are reaching out to this Christmas. Collection sites will be in the
auditoriums on both campuses. We are also collecting these items to meet some benevolent needs this Christmas among some of our own families at TNC. I want to challenge everyone to respond this opportunity Sunday by blessing others with some food items this Christmas! LET’S BRING IT SUNDAY TNC!
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES have filled up for our 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm times in North Augusta! However, we will do our very best to provide seating for all in attendance. Be sure to come early! I am encouraging those who haven’t picked up tickets to join me and my family at our Columbia County campus at 6:00 pm. We still have tickets available for this service at Augusta Prep. All the services will be identical and I will be speaking at each service. It’s going to be an awesome night of celebration, reflection and worship of the new born King! I can’t wait!!!!
