BRRR IT'S COLD OUTSIDE!
I walked out the door this morning and was greeted by some really cold air. It feels like winter in Georgia-Carolina, it doesn’t happen often and I’m glad! But even with the cold, things continue to heat up at TNC! The switch to the auditorium with three services on our North Augusta campus has gone very smoothly. I want to thank our Staff, volunteer leaders and new volunteers for stepping up during the BIG SWITCH! Also, KUDOS to each of you that have committed to attending our 8:30 am services. This will continue to open up seats at our 10:00 am service. Our 10:00 am service is still crowded however, so let me encourage some of our 10 o’clock attenders to consider attending our 11:30 am service. We have lots of seats available for first timers and attenders in our third service.
Kidz Stuff is loving the gym and days of growth and ministry are ahead for our Kids!!

A new year of great opportunity awaits our Augusta Prep campus as we seek to expand our influence in Columbia County in 2009.
Please continue to pray for the launch of our Decatur, Illinois campus. We had a BIG ANSWER to prayer for this campus last week as God has brought a worship leader to TNC- DECATUR!!!! Keep up the BIG prayers for TNC- Decatur as March 1, quickly approaches.
CALLING ALL CHICKS--- things are heating up for the annual CHICKS RETREAT on February 20-21 in downtown Augusta. This Sunday is the final Sunday to get the $25.00 discount for early sign-up (sign-up at Guest Services). A $50.00 non-refundable deposit on Sunday will reserve your spot for the special weekend. CHICKS director Jenny Lou Jones and her CHICAKDEES (team) always plan a lot of fun, fellowship and inspiration each year at this Winter Retreat. Our women always get fired up about Christ and his church after this special weekend. Sign-up this Sunday and bring a friend or family member with you!
The BIG SWITCH series has been challenging and inspiring many folks to make some changes in their walk with God. We had many new people sign-up last Sunday to take a “next step” by committing to get in a small group (Journey Team)!!! God is at work in this series and we close with the finale this Sunday, you don’t want to miss it!!!!
Next Sunday, we begin a 5 week relationship series entitled, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. Our relationships with our spouse, our kids and those closest to us are in dire need of some FRESH LOVE, LOVE that speaks the language of the heart and resonates with the love God offers each of us. I can’t wait! Next Sunday, January 25th, the band NUMBER 9 will help us kick off the series on our NA CAMPUS with some special BEATLES numbers. NUMBER 9 is a Beatles cover band known through out the Augusta area! Let God’s love REVOLUTIONIZE your relationships this February!
